The main goal of Macromex's specific logistics service is the timely delivery of goods, respecting the proper management of the flow of goods, which is the main system of ensuring customer service.
Logistics infrastructure includes:
2 distribution centers (Corso Distribution Center in Chitila and Edenia Distribution Center in Campia Turzii), 5 cross-docking points (Arad, Craiova, Brasov, Bacău, Constanta), own fleet of temperature-controlled machines and state-of-the-art technology for order preparation and optimization of distribution processes, providing complete services for a large number of temperature-controlled products.
Therefore, we distribute more than 150,000 pallets of goods/year, with a rate of 15,000 - 20,000 deliveries/month, processing orders of different types and sizes: from a few trucks/order to a few kg/order; orders can be at pallet, box or even unit level, and the operating time (order pick - delivery) is 24-48 hours. Of course, operation is done in accordance with safety and security rules; ISO 22000 certification.
Macromex currently owns 2 distribution centers (Corso Distribution Center in Chitila and Edenia Distribution Center in Câmpia Turzii) and 5 cross-docking points (Arad, Craiova, Brasov, Bacău, Constanța).
The Edenia Distribution Center warehouse in Câmpia Turzii is the first High-Bay warehouse for frozen products in Romania and the highest in Europe (42 m), fully automated.
